Chaal

For our debut, we're gonna start with one of the basics. 'Chaal' means 'to walk', in Punjabi. It involves squatting and getting down low, with the knees facing outward and your heels positioned further apart than your knees so that the back of your knee is making an obtuse angle. To move in this position, you only lightly raise your heels and make small steps, keeping the back straight and the arms at chest level. The key to this step is making sure you stay low and maintain posture, all while keeping a smile on your face :)
