First Class Bhangra (FCB) is an internationally competing team from Pittsburgh, PA. During this amazing performance, First Class Bhangra's music stopped playing midway through due to a technical error. The remainder of the performance was unscripted and entirely spontaneous, showcasing the dancers' ability to follow through the rest of their entire set using only the beats of the dhol. This performance truly gives meaning to the phrase 'the show must go on'!

This all male independent team from Raleigh, NC decided theme their set as a 'journey through time,' showing the progression of Bhangra and its culture. One of the many things to note about this performance is the sudden changes in beat tempo, and the dancers' smooth and steady transitions through rapid fluctuations from slow to fast beats. They stay true to the 'folk' style of Bhangra, using more traditional moves and adding more deliberation to their moves and execution. Seeing as our set this year is entirely folk, this performance is definitely worth a watch!
